remaining banksy's in shoreditch? , by mrtom on Mar 16, 2009 7:53:04 GMT 1, I'm trying to hunt down the last remaining Banksy's running in the Old Street / Shoreditch area that I've not yet admired / photographed. At the mo I've seen:
* Site of Pulp Fiction by Old Street tube (tagged)
* Partly covered Happy Choppers (perspexed) on the corner of Great Eastern Street
* Boarded up giant rat / tv in carpark
* Grin Reaper on Scrutton Street (tagged badly now)
* very flakey remains of Girl with Gasmask on Brick Lane
* tag on post by Truman Brewery
* Pink Car remains by Truman Brewery
* Cargo set (HMV dog / Poodle)
It's a sad state of affairs that the one's I've seen are either perspexed or badly tagged in this area. Any help to see others would be much appreciated!

Not sure if the Barcode piece on brick lane is still visible or not man, but thats one of my fave pieces.....

The cherub piece at the old steet roundabout has now been vandalised by a couple of Boneheads.

There's remnants of 'This is not a picnic area' on some steps on Curtain Road.

It's a pain that both the Banksy location maps online and the tour book can't (obviously) keep updating as much as I'd like, and that the Art of the State collection rams home the word "buffed" after each pic!
Others I've visited in London since Christmas:
* One Nation (now gone)
* Baby - Kill People (Hackney Wick...the Olympics will ruin this one)
* Canal hoody - Union Canal (pretty mint)
* Kid gangsta (tagged badly) Gillett Sq
* Last graffiti (new one by M1 - mint)
* Workman + flower (Bethnal Green....quickly being ruined)
* Crazy beat Royal Family - (Stoke Newington - so untouched!)
* What are you looking at? (Marble Arch - mint)
Have I missed any obvious ones?!
