Anyone going to faile show in NYC next week?, by Michael Jacob on May 29, 2007 19:53:04 GMT 1, Is anyone going to the Faile show next week in New York? I was thinking of heading to it? Any idea how much originals will cost? They are only showing original canvases and woods. Do you think they are worth it, or would I be better off buying prints? Thanks!

I'd say if you aren't sure you can afford an original, it might not be worth going. I bet the cheapest thing will be a $1200 wood apple box/panel/whatever

Just this minute got an email from Faile,:
"Just an email to say we are having our first solo show here in New York City
beginning Thursday, June 7th - Sunday, June 10th. It will be a comprehensive
show featuring works on canvas and wood. We will not have any prints or works on
paper available at this show. We will however be doing another print release
sometime in August.
The show will be open from 11am-6pm daily. "

I have e-mailed laz to see if i can see whats avaialable and maybe buy a piece.
if anyone is going and wants to e-mail me pics from the opening, i would really appreciate it!
And if anyone trusts me and vice-versa, would they buy me a piece if I love the images and the prices are ok?!!!
