Galleries in Seattle, San Fran & L.A.??, by tadghostal on Jun 17, 2007 2:11:17 GMT 1, Roq La Rue in Seattle seems to book some cool talent. If you happen to be in town at just the right time; on the first Thursday of the month there is a gallery walk in Pioneer Square (old part of downtown Seattle) which is outstanding.
Also, you're most likely going to end up driving through Portland, and I'd suggest taking a half-day to check out what they have to offer as well. If you can imagine a hipster's dream city, it would be Portland; blossoming modern architecture, killer pan-pacific restaurants, a rocking music scene and I'd bet visual arts to go along with it all. Its a smaller, more pedestrian-friendly version of Seattle.
BTW, based on your post, should I assume you're in the UK?

Galleries in Seattle, San Fran & L.A.??, by stradled on Jun 17, 2007 12:35:40 GMT 1, This is good timing, i was just about to post an identical thread as I am going from the UK to LA and San Diego on Tuesday.
Does anyone have the links to these galleries or shows?
I was also wondering if anyone had a list of good sites to pick up prints in America, as was hoping to order a few and bring them back avoiding all the usual overseas costs.
Thanks in Advance Stradle
EDIT: Going from 19th June - 8th July
