I have been reading over this thread, and was sorry to see Cedric put on the spot. I understand where you were coming from warmgun, but to be fair, Cedric was posting a new type of work for him.
In any event, I am happy to be shown art by anyone, no matter where on the forum.
I think the problem arises form the loss of the "Your own work" (or whatever it was called) section on the forum, and its distillation into just one thread. The old section was a place for all artists, new, old, red star or not, amatuer, proffesional, whatever, to post their latest work. It was possibly my favorite section of the forum, adn a great place to see work of new, emerging and established artists. It certainly introduced me to a lot of artists.
I can understand artists not being to keen on posting work in the sections in the bowels of the home page, hardly to be seen.
I would love to see the return of the old section. I seem to remember there being quite a lot of support for it staying/being reinstated at the time.
Any chance we can have it back mods/silky?
