An artist is someone who produces art. Amateur or pro. I don't know what is the signification of red stars here and you should ask to Silky. I really don't bother about "badges" anyway. Besides I don't see how I am jumping on any bandwagon and how I could be against the spirit of that thread. I posted 2 pics and I'm a thread hijacker ? WTF. Having a website and art for sale does not mean much, as most artists have a daily job to pay the bills. Therefore, I don't consider myself professionnal despite the red star badge or the "pro" site with art for sale... I think it is the same for SilentBill (I know him very well).
PS : there is no armature in my paste-ups. It's plain paper and is thick enough to stand by itself.

I also thought that most of you red star chaps had your own threads and pages on the go....just saying like.
A while ago, when I joined this forum I asked where I could post pictures of the things I make. First I didn't want to post pictures in this thread, because most of my stuff isn't in the street, is no street art therefor. In the Urban section is no thread and to sum it up; this is the only one. I first posted directly in the urban art forum, but felt a bit strange. So I checked this thread out and looked to make more sense seeing the other works.
I can imagine you want to keep this thread for amateurs, to give them a stage, but where to draw the line? I don't consider myself a professional. I loose money on making things, but I would sell stuff to keep my hobby finances a bit more in the direction of the black numbers.
I am also on a different forum where the have a seperate section for people who make stuff. There amateurs and professionals are posting it all. Everybody has one or more threads in that secton. I don't know if there is enough interest to have a seperate section, but that could be a solution?
