Thanks federation of ideas, pretty much from sketch to pull, i made and prepared the graphics before hand, and made the prints part of a 2 day workshop on the print club, with the technician guidance , if all goes as planned i might do a small run on these early in B3 next year so that i don't forget what i've learned, out of 10 only got 4 spot on registration, the rest were off but i'm quite happy with them, they look much better in hand.
This was the plan.

Thanks, This was done at the London print club, i've used a large format metal halide UV exposure unit with suction lid, for about 45 seconds, the pressing was done on a large vacum assisted table, good thing is now i can become a member and use the studio when i need, not cheap but it's pro.

artiiist: I'm afraid those are long gone. I don't even have one. Once in a while one will pop up on Ebay though.
Lesson1: The original sculpt was made from clay and balsa wood for the chainsaws. Made a mold from that, and cast these in resin. Each panda is actually 13 different pieces. (5 for each chainsaw, one for the body, and two nubs so the chainsaws are able to move) Those are assembled, sanded and cleaned, and finally painted.
Thanks!

Here is a pic of the most recent order (I had to omit the name for privacy reasons).
Also, the numbers "I7TA R1MN1" actually translate into "Respect Me" in Arabic.
Would love to hear your thoughts!

If you have Adobe illustrator you can use the live trace function. Using the options you can have better control over the effect allowing you to get as much or as little detail as you need. Also the sharp lines shouldn't be to much of an issue as you choose where you cut for the end result. I would use it as a rough guide.
