I would have to disagree here with you. The Sepia paper is thinner IMO. I have touched them both.

As far as i know they are both the same and both made in a handmade paper mill in somerset and embossed. 300g satin if i remember rightly? the sepia has a subtle sepia tone to it, im not sure about the B&W???

i have not had the chance to touch both and i am going by the word of my framer who has framed my sepia and also a signed b/w morons. who knows maybe the paper (like the colors) changed within the print edition...
