LESROY: AN APPRAISAL, by tomhills1 on Mar 12, 2007 20:13:03 GMT 1, i would just like to take the time bring to everyone's attention the man that is lesroy. on saturday i went up to meet him and buy the hick by jamie hewlett. he sold it to me for an exceptional price, already framed to an unbelievably high standard, was easy to arrange to meet up with him and he even offered me round for a cuppa!
i don't know if anyone else knows him personally or has dealt with him, but incase anyone would like to in the future, then take it from me, you can be assured of a great service from a top bloke.
i think we as a "community" (makes us sound like gypsies or the underworld) should let other members know of our dealings with one another and recommend those we have had good relations with.
i know the respect system is designed for such things but it is sometimes hard to differentiate from those who make valid point, have good prints on their walls and those who have helped other members out. and for that reason i'm going to give him a plus every day for a week.
i'm sure he could have sold it for more on ebay but was good enough to help out a fellow member try to increase their collection and i'm really grateful for that nick. i love the print and it looks great above the bed, though my wife says our kid is going to grow up having terrible nightmares what with that and a grin reaper in the house!
so to summarise, lesroy is a true gentleman and you'd do well to encounter him.
if anyone else has dealt with other members and been pleased then feel free to name them here.
p.s have you found the edition number yet les?

he called me after wanted to check the original owner of a print @pow couldn't get an answer to his mail so i phoned them for him got dora to check it very helpfull as always
