I wonder what prices these new soup cans will be going for on ebay in a few weeks?  I should think they will go for at least £1,000 more than the current price, dunt ya think? Look at how the prices of the Kate Moss print went  £1500 to start with, then the last I saw go on ebay was over £5,000 I think

I get the link to the famous artist but it looks cr4p in my opinion, why not buy the poster and cut 4 out for £5 and colour there tops in gold, real value?
Tesco's are eating up the country with their constant expansion plans and unethical practices, driving farmers/local suppliers to suicide in some cases. read (shopped/not on the label) and should be boycotted at all costs. I bloody hate these chains (Asda, McD, Starbucks, Gap, Nike, etc) and dream of a day when we start living the "Good Life", eating decent food
and not been sold their substandard shit. 4k to be reminded of these monsters, no thanks, what next Big Mac prints?

I would think that an old image with these price tags would atleast warrant the edition being done on canvas.

Keep in mind banksy has a show coming up, Laz, as all good agents do, finances this. So if Banksy wants to stick a 150 000 quid solid bronze statue in a park, that then gets scrapped, someone has to pay for it. Some of Banksys ideas don't come cheap. Melting telephone boxes costs a fortune to make

Like Warhol before -- the image is cheap, and yet he can print it - sign it - and set a price and watch them sell out. They will sell out. Sooner or later... but will he make prints available at POW again - for a reasonable price?? Should he?? Too many people here are motivated by profit - and I think that is a part of this that he is getting a solid laugh at... the way the conventional art world has begun to BUY into his prints... why release it for cheap when it will soar on the internet in days - or be knocked off...
Why not buy the poster for 10? why not go to the store and buy some cans of soup - why does the image mean more with his name on it? Why is an image of the same can in quads worth so much more?

I bought something in there a couple of months back and was asked if there was any particular number I wanted. I could have got anything, but just took the one that was on top of the pile.
