paypal problems, by MGK1 on May 23, 2011 18:21:10 GMT 1, i tried to but the obey hello kitty print on behalf of my sister. I payed via echeque as that was the only option on paypal. The print cost ยฃ170 in total and in my bank/paypal i had well over that amount. i got an email today saying the payment had been reversed due to insufficient funds which was clearly not the case.
can anyone shed any light on this? It now looks like i've missed out on the chance to buy it

On a serious note i have found paypal very helpful on the phone and fixed the issue directly
I've only had one e-cheque with paypal and they are awful imo, think it was close to two weeks before i could access the funds in my account

I hate echeques too, i've had big problems with them in the past but unfortunately, when i made the payment, echeque was the only option

paypal problems, by kalm on May 24, 2011 3:43:50 GMT 1, Sorry man...my wife incurred a few setbacks in bill paying by relying on that money that I PROMISED would be there and wasn't happy...I have since made another agreement and if it fails to follow up I will contact you...I know it was an honest mistake as you have a good reputation here but I've found a fairly local buyer. No worries and sorry it couldn't work out.

The clearing time is quite a few days and the process is paypal take your money straight away, but release to the other end somewhere around 5 business days later.
The fact that it was cancelled by the seller without prior advice to you and on-sold is poor form.
