Hey,
Last week we officially gave up all hope of ever owning a Banksy colouways soupcan. Rather than complain we decided to get even so for the soupless amongst you we are proud to introduce the Sainsburys soupcan. An irreverant (some would say irrelevant) tribute to Warhol and Banksy. We've done a run of 50 all numbered and signed on fancy paper. if anyone is interested in buying one just drop me a line lmmar4@hotmail.com. They are £25 each plus postage.

I've had lots of emails about the prints so thought I'd provide a bit more information and a couple more pics. Each print is 270mm x 365mm (slightly smaller than A3) and uses four colours- orange, blue, silver and black. We've sold 23 since yesterday- so 26 to go! (one is for us!) You're welcome to request individual print numbers and we'll do our best to help out. Two people have asked about a canvas edition- we're happy to do one if there's interest but would want to keep it small (probably an edition of 5). I'm not sure how much they will cost but around £60. Let me know if you're up for it.

The print is our own - and is based upon the infamous street work of JS Sainsbury We initially intended to just produce one for ourselves but it came up well and we thought- what the hell we can't be alone in not having £6,000 to spend on a Banksy ;-)

The tesco's value can seems a little boring, where as the sainsbury's one has nicer colours.

It's a bit of fun isn't it, only £25 so it's cheap,( be lucky to get a frame for that price) and it's not too big to be in your face, there will be a small spot somewhere in my house for it and I think it'll bring a smile to a few faces.

If you think that you have ordered a print and I haven't contacted you (either through your email address or by PM) then please drop me a line. I'm doing it all by myself so might have got muddled! I have sold all five canvases, but there are still nine of the fifty prints left so if anyone still fancies one just let me know. Thanks to everyone who ordered- you are amazing, intelligent, witty and sexually desirable people.

On another note if you let me know which charity you're supporting I'm happy to also make a personal donation.

Please PM me if youre selling here although i think ebay would work better too. You could post the link on this forum and the banksy ebay forum and even without word spamming would pick up a much larger audience through listing in the contemporary/ graffiti art section on ebay.

Can't be fairer than that.
