Watched the documentary a few weeks back and it seems most of his "gaffs" have been a result of his desire to make at least 1 person laugh when he makes his way down a line up. His humour may be seen to be a little off in this day and age of political correctness, but he comes from a vastly different generation from most of us and in relation to what my Grandfather used to come out with (they would have been about the same age) he would qualify for a seat on the PC board of enquiry. Good on yer Phil, keep up the good work. A national treasure.

But hes a national treasure, hmmmm. If thats in the same sense that the Elgin marbles are our national treasure, then again i would have to agree.
