foam board storage, by ksedge on Jul 15, 2011 15:57:44 GMT 1, looking for any advice here...
i have a number of prints stored between two pieces of acid free foam core/board, corners held down by acid free corner stickers and then the boards are just taped together to stay pressed. this is what my framer suggested to store prints for a while. i looked into getting a portfolio but i have a number of prints that are too large to fit in a standard portfolio.
any thoughts on this? i have a mix of screens and a giclee stored this way. i will hopefully get them out and framed soon but some have been that way for 6 months or more. am i doing any damage here?
any help would be appreciated.
