Some of the buyers on ebay are galleries and others are collectors that are buying multiples. Some of these guys are buying 3-4 of each print!
The GWB that sold just over a week ago was a slight anomaly in my opinion because the guy who bought it with the 'Buy Now' said he didn't care about the price, as he just got a bonus and thats what he sprung it on. I think the daily value on that print is more like 2k... but they are surely more than they were in January. (better or worse depending on if you are buying -like me- or selling!)

Applause for example has gone up about ยฃ 150 -- ยฃ 200 in the last couple of weeks and i saw a flying copper go for ยฃ 1,250 !

I was 2nd in the que for an Applause being sold by a forum member to another member for ยฃ500.
Oh well, maybe I'll just save my little banksy stash for his next release instead.

I'm not sure Banksy does have a hand to play in this game. The all important timing is really what your agent should be orchestrating (unless the timing of the release is integral to the art itself ). My money's on Laz releasing prints only when the market has stabilized and began increasing again. If true, it should be easy to read roughly when a new release is going to happen again.
Does anyone have a current overall banksy sales graph? It could be a very easy to prove whether this theory is correct and maybe even use it as a predictive tool.
