dont buy the 8am stuff. there was a crane working til about 2pm and nobody really queued until after then. but it sounds like a nice bit of hype by him.
i think they looked outside at about 4pm and thought fook it, only about 20 people here let them buy 2 each. if that was my gallery i would have least have the 2 prints framed up and hanging in the window to create a bit of buzz. they dont learn cause they dont care. either way they sell everything so they dont lose out.

Quite a lot of the pieces sold before opening. Once the preview was released you could phone up and buy them - as many collectors did.

oh, thanks for that, but I did get the purple one (thanks to Jack).. but seeing two of them up on eBay is just new level of WRONG..

I got one of the blue ones, which came out of the tube when I came home for a good lookee, then into my portfolio until I get it framed...
I just read this, looked again and it's VERY different, the skulls in BOTH preview pictures are kinda washed out grey(ish) tones (the kind of colours you'd expect a skull to be, no?) not the darker blue and YELLOW that is actually on the prints.
Anyway, I've decided I am not too keen and would rather the money from this went towards filling the gaps in my walls, and not my portfolio. If anyone one wants to pick this up at cost (ยฃ275), drop me a PM and we can sort something out.

Swaps are good too, possibly better - unless you're offering MBW, which would be a lot worse
