True, hardly representative for that piece, saw over £9K at the peak, now should be £5K - 6K minimum. Anything less than that sould be grabbed. (IMO) |

you only have to look at we come in peace & minatour weapon, not making their purchase price at ebay auction as evidence.

It's worth whatever the buyer is willing to pay, I bought mine for £5k and regardless of one being sold for £4k recently, mine is still worth every penny I paid for it to me. End of the day it is his most wanted image, it's used on the front of his books and he is constantly associated with it. I know several people who own this print and it would have to take something serious for them to part with it (as with me) I think it is fair to say that the majority are owned by people who want the print for their wall, so there won't be many coming up for sale, grab it while you can. 21stCL is to Micallef what CWSB is to Banksy!! |

As I said the 9K was well over the score, but they sat between 5 and 6 for alot longer than 2 months. Still never to mind, its not mine being sold and by your estimates, not yours either, so we can sit back and watch the one on ebay ( 2.8K with 5 days to go). |

This print was 3-4k on ebay at the end of 2006, when eyestorm and Opus would only sell it as a set with other micallef prints. Both galleries finally sold 21st Century Love as an individual print for 4k (including VAT) in January 07. They were all purchased within 48 hours, which surprised even those galleries.
If one did go on ebay for under 4k, I would treat it as an outlier, certainly not the norm. I think 5-6k was the norm before things got silly in summer 07.
