Damaged Goods - Advice Appreciated, by me7777 on Aug 31, 2011 20:48:09 GMT 1, I have been a bit stupid and would apperciate advice how to proceed with my situation. I bought a print on metal from an ebay member mid June which arrived damaged, I got plenty photos and spoke to seller by phone before purchase so I know there was no damage before it was sent - as soon as it arrived I contacted the seller who immediatley put a compensation claim in with pacelforce as he had sensibly paid for insurance, I also got paperwork sent to me to complete and return, the seller lined up a replacement print from another source(reputable dealer who I have bought from previously) and we agreed that once he got his compensation from Parcelforce that he would pay for it and have it sent to me. Parcelforce took a very long time to process the compensation claim, never inspected the print and have now refused compensation - the seller has spent the cash and now claims he has no funds to refund me - I have contacted ebay but foolishly I have missed their 45 deadline for claims and they will not help. What should I do, is legal proceedings the anwer?

Damaged Goods - Advice Appreciated, by me7777 on Aug 31, 2011 21:42:10 GMT 1, Parcelforce won't tell me anything as I am not the claimant due to data protection rules. I have asked the seller to forward me copy of letter but that doesn't get me my refund.
