Anyone else think the note on the door looks different to the note on the panel & then theres the differences in the panel itself...it looks like its changed from sprayed chipboard to metal.

The rat is in the middle of the metal panel and offset on the door. The panel on the door is sprayed ply not metal. The note on the door is thinner than the note on the metal panel.

Factory Door Rat, by bison on Aug 1, 2007 21:25:31 GMT 1, personally i find it really difficult to believe anyone can bid/purchase on any(and there has been plenty to chose from.....)of these "banksy originals"with any confidence,its been discussed in other threads about proving provenance..simply not possible,how could it be!!??!!dont get me wrong id love an original piece of art by banksy...and an original James dean autograph... but id just be either a mug or eternal optimist to buy either off ebay with no provenance,or chance of gaining one.i just dont understand why anyone bothers with them....ps i have a shed full of banksy rats printed on anything you wish,tin/bt box/wall tiles please pm preferances... all original of course:

The one for sale is a little lower than the rats eyes. also rim of hat to note level are off. the one on the door the tip of the rim on the hat is close to the middle of the note. the one for sale the tip of the rim is at the top of the note. hope that makes sense.
