I got some Antony Gormley Pegs in 1999 when Homebase sold a load of items from Artists. Think I spent about £400 because I loved some of the items. They're currently in a box in my loft. I was hoping they would go up in value.

I think these may have been the first 'proper art' that I purchased. Just realised it's been a 20 year journey on this art collecting business.

I bought it too. Pricey yes, but having looked at what else is around, for the size it's reasonable £££. I've a couple of much smaller prints from the Room series which look great and cost me closer to £1k. Size and colour on this larger one should be stunning. To be honest my motivation for buying was visiting the RA exhibition last month - really amazing; in my view AG is a genius and I'm happy to have a few of his pieces in my collection. Enjoy your visit.....

I have to say, having been to the Royal Academy exhibition, the Counter Editions lithograph looks like an incredible buy against the RA's prints, admittedly they are smaller editions. I also prefer the image in the HF Counter editions, to any of these:

Regular arguments with my sibling who was going to get up and change the channel and put 50p in the meter!

Just quick one to say if someone was close to buying 'FREE' or wanted it but couldn't quite stretch to the discounted price of £2800 we might be able to help each other out.

I've got a copy at home in London that is not going to get framed or make the wall anytime soon so I would be willing to let it go for less than my cost, and ideally agree a sale and delivery in mid-December when I'm back. Since the prints went on sale individually to my knowledge this one hasn't gone up in price and has always been listed as £3500, but buyers could get 20% off with a code, so basically has been £2800 and now, if code doesn't work, it is £3500. My copy has just been sold too. Cheers

By Kaleidoscope are you referring to Scope, sold by the White Cube gallery in 07? Signed edition of 250, in a box also signed. If so, what value do you place on that piece?
