Olympics Hotel Accomodation Help needed, by Deleted on Oct 18, 2011 10:29:59 GMT 1, As the title says ive been lucky and managed to get some tickets to the Olympics next year for a midweek morning session at the stadium. I fancied staying in London on the night (Wednesday 8/8/2012) but im struggling to find a hotel. Can anyone recommend one or give me an idea of somewhere decent just a small tube/train ride from the centre as i'll be travelling with 2 kids 6/3. I really don't know the London area so am relying on your knowledge. Cheers cnh.

Olympics Hotel Accomodation Help needed, by Goooogle Male on Oct 18, 2011 10:42:26 GMT 1, My understanding is that there is now no accomodation available during the games period itself within an hour's drive of olympic park - which includes all of central london zone 1. I would defo reccomend looking at places that allow easy access to the high speed 'javelin' shuttle trains into stratford, as whilst you may be geographically quite far from olympic park, they will get you in very quickly.

Olympics Hotel Accomodation Help needed, by Shoot Again on Oct 18, 2011 11:05:59 GMT 1, Try the rental websites dedicated to private short term renting accomodation for the Olymics. Isle of Dogs is only a short DLR ride from the games.
Any link to these rental websites ?
