No idea on price/value, it does have a slightly smudged signature and no real provenance.
Valium - released by Eyestorm part of an edition of 500 and released in the very early days when apparently Hirst signed the whole edition in pen that faded or rubbed off.
Several of these were resigned as far as I know, but as you can see I know very little!
Any advice on value/history/consequence of smudged signature? etc would be greatly appreciated.

i unfortunately had some unhappy dealings along the lines of buying Hirst spot prints. I wouldn't buy one without going through a big name gallery that is going to stand behind it 100%..

I was sure it was legit but the great price had me a little concerned. Just to be extra safe I contacted Eyestorm directly and advise you do the same. I didn't purchase it in the end.
