Mr. Brainwash Calling All Artists, by warsaw project on Oct 7, 2011 3:01:12 GMT 1,
Mr. Brainwash is inviting all artists to come and be a part of his upcoming show in Los Angeles entitled Art Show 2011. For the exhibition, he is donating over 20,000 square feet of space to showcase donated works from around the globe. The project space will be open for three days for artists to install their works. The invitation is open to artists worldwide and artwork can be submitted by mail or in person. All pieces must be created on a 4 ft. by 6 ft. of paper and should not contain nudity, violence or profanity.
Installation dates/times: October 9, 10 & 11 from 12pm to 4pm PST.
Location: 960 N La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046
If submitting by mail, artwork can be sent to PO Box 93369, Los Angeles, CA 90093.

Mr. Brainwash Calling All Artists, by Cedric Mnich on Oct 18, 2011 9:48:47 GMT 1, Maybe this will sound "bad mouth" but I have a strange feeling that MBW got a too big space for his own show and when he found out he would have huuuuuuge empty spaces, he decided to fill in with other artists' work to give more background to his own work in a very pragmatic and opportunist way... It was the shortest call to artists notice I ever saw...
I guess it's supposed to be a win/win deal though, offering unique visibility to other artists but not sure it's fair that all works get destroyed after... (I can understand dealing with so many artists sales would be very difficult).
Well, just my 2c thoughts... At least, I hope all artists providing artwork will be mentioned / credited somewhere so that they can get some crumbles of the show.
