It is after all just a picture in a frame, hardly worth getting 'fuming' about imo, and certainly not worth losing sleep over. At the end of the day its still going to his house rather than anyone elses, so its not like he's lost anything.. Just my 2c of course.

The first time that I have ever received a complaint for posting images, but a lesson learnt!
I do not personally know the owner, who is a friend of a good customer but certainly did not intend to cause such a "scene".

I believe the 3 red dots are a nod to Keith Haring.
One of Haring's most iconic figures was a 3 eyed monster.
Keith also did a lot of art with hellish themes and characters that had red deamonic eyes.

Their choice I know but art is for sharing isn't it? If you find it a problem then sell it on to someone a little less greedy. Only my opinion of course, and nothing more!

I think you probably gave a lot of people a lot more pleasure for being able to see a true rarity than the pain you caused by showing a picture of a piece of art.

But to withdraw a picture of a previously unseen print (unseen by me anyway) from a site dedicated to followers of an artists work I think that a little sad! How often do people moan on here when street work is painted over or removed. I thought the whole idea of Urban Art was it is there for the masses, for all to see....................No?
