The buyers premium is the auction house's cut so it's not really ebay's fault with that one. But i agree that it is enough to turn away most people unless it's a one-off item unobtainable anywhere else.

I know gallery auctions tend to go higher, and that price may include their premium - but that's pretty impressive for a US sale, and the highest I've seen for a signed LR.
