1st Post on this site. Help required re Banksy, by markrobbo on Jun 3, 2007 18:44:15 GMT 1, Hi all, This is my first post on this site so "hello everyone". Just looking for some advice on Banksy as i've started to get into his work having previously collected art by the likes of Doug Hyde and Mackenzie Thorpe. I'm looking to purchase a Banksy so please can anyone help with:-
- Difference in price between Signed Editions and un-signed. Clearly i'd like a signed edition and i suspect they'll go up more than a std edition.
- What is a good example to purchase a "starter"
- When will Banksy be releasing his next prints and what are the changes of getting one via POW / official sources at the std retail. It seems prints such as "Morans" were only ยฃ600 yet they're going for 5 times that now?!!
Thanks in advance...

Not sure the only signed edition rule is that helpfull. Otherwise all good stuff. Investment wise i think the girlfiend and the boardroom factor are important eg kate moss is a certain winner because it is acceptable to both. Others think those aspects are irrelevant.

( I am not a big fan of ebay myself but there is enough people here to give advises on listings) If it is not an issue, you could start by contacting Banksy gallery, Lazinc.com and see if they have prints or by visiting : www.gallerynosco.com www.campbarbara.com www.artificalgallery.co.uk andipa.com
or do a search on Banksy here www.artprice.net originalprints.com

On the other hand, prices are going up all the time.
Check here for details on the range of prints available banksyforum.proboards82.com/index.cgi?board=banksyprints

Not top quality movie but gives you an idea.
