Mark told me he had 10 "extra" sign left from the first release of 50 he did couple of years ago (and he won't do anymore in the future) and decided to send them to Gestalten but not numbered because it was not a new release. only leftovers (APs?) from the first one.

As collectors you need to look at a piece within the context of a body of work. We all know Mark Jenkins doesn't suck as an artist overall. So perhaps instead of making the negative comments you have made, let's take a step back and reflect on what perhaps Mr Jenkins is trying to say with the execution of these works. There is certainly more to ponder with these, than a stencil of some asshole dripping paint on a city, or of an amalgamation of top tier works screened onto aluminium panels. You guys come here and claim to hate institutions like Wal-mart and tesco, yet that is exactly how you like to buy your art. You take what your told is cool and lap it up. Art is about making beautiful work, yes, but it is also about asking the viewer to do some work. I always find the more challenging a work is, when I finally get it, it is that much more enjoyable.
