Would I have still bought it? Probably not. His work is not that hard to come by, the babies have been available for ages, but I liked the idea and the small edition size so I bought one. Simply a case where artist/gallery says: "Wow those sold quickly, we should have raised the price or made more." In their case they did both.
If you feel that the edition size is now 12, then why are you selling this as an edition of 7 in your FS thread? I don't think you should say the edition is 12 when it suits your argument about being unhappy with the new edition, and then say the edition size is 7 when it helps your sale. I think it's cool of you to sell it for face value, but you are sending mixed messages.

Mark's larger sculptures go for $3000-$12000 depending on the size, edition, etc.
I have two sculptures for sale currently. Both are editions of 1.
"Walk in the Park" $3100 USD (ducks are included)
"Blaster" $7250 USD (Includes a can of matching pink paint so you can "blast" your wall.
I would estimate shipping for either of these would be $750-$1000 internationally.
If you live on the East Coast of the US, I can deliver for a very reasonable price.

just for your information when I bought it on Gestalten it said "limited to 20 pieces, both (book and stop sign) signed and numbered."
got them today and they are NOT numbered.
I emailed both Gestalten and Mark and looks like there were 2 mistakes:
- they are just signed and not numbered
- Gestalted has only 10 book+stop sign bundles for sale, not 20
well that's it.

Mark told me he had 10 "extra" sign left from the first release of 50 he did couple of years ago (and he won't do anymore in the future) and decided to send them to Gestalten but not numbered because it was not a new release. only leftovers (APs?) from the first one.
