Are they only dropping online or will there be some at the gallery because at 4pm I'll be on the DLR heading to either this or POW. So if they're not at the gallery I'll be 'out' anyway.

I've always been a fan of woodcut prints, and love these little Invaders.
I too wonder whether Invader cut them himself?
Unfortunately, either way, I can't really justify the expense at the moment.

It's not always easy for artists to try new directions but he should stick to what he does best : mosaic invader, either kits or embossed prints, imho. That's what people want after all, what he is famous for. That would be ok if something new was brought here but adding invaders on famous artworks is just not enough from my point of view, especially considering the size and price of the print. I assume they look very good in the flesh of course.

For me, they evoke the great sci-fi movies of the 50's whilst remaining faithful to his 'invader' theme and character yet also pastiching the Munch works. I really like them. They're small, yes, but I could live with that. Also, I see folk crying out for artistes like Eine to do something a bit different and here we have an artist making moves to expand his 'oeuvre'.
One thing we are agreed on though is that ยฃ280 is steep.
Not sure it's a pass but will need much head scratching between now and 1600 hrs.

despite early excitement i'm finding it difficult spending the small amount I had put aside for December releases - waffles are a nice little gimmick but laughably overpriced, the wood-cuts do nothing for me although I appreciate trying something new etc.. Don't like the new Bast either and i've loved everything else he's done this year. Unless Banksy happens and I get extremely lucky, looks like I'm waiting for the MauMau Haring and settling for a Faile poster =]
