Invader • Warning • Print, by kel on May 20, 2015 16:54:03 GMT 1, Sorry to here about this dss111. I am assuming that you used Royal Mail. The only reason I ask is I had something similar late last year with a Miss Bugs print had to refund as could not get proof of postage. Made claim with Royal Mail and was denied. They said they had sent the intended recipient a letter to ask if they had received it and as they hadn't replied denied the claim. You really couldn't make it up they actually thought that it is a reasonable practice to ask somebody else except the person that has shipped and paid for the service.

What happened overall - according to USPS - is it arrived at the buyer's post office with a customs fee, and the buyer never paid the customs fee. As a result, it was sent back to me after sitting on that end for about a month, and was lost after the first scan on the return route (the last scan says something along the lines of 'package unclaimed, returned to sender' and that was April 7).

Invader • Warning • Print, by docholiday on May 20, 2015 17:11:50 GMT 1, Hopefully there is still hope of receiving the print back. I once sent sneakers to Germany on January 24, 2013. They never made it to the buyer and on April 17, 2013 I received them in the mail with no reason explanation. For some reason it took 3 months though. Tracking was useless during this whole thing once it left the USPS station.

I'm honestly as upset that the print is lost as I am over the money; the idea that it might become an edition of 49 largely because of USPS seems so messed up.

That way we know who was at the other end of your experience and you've broken no forum rules. It rings a bell, come to think of it. Sorry to hear about it mate.

Probably can't give details because of forum rules, although I'd absolutely classify this as a 'bad dealing' or even 'worst sale ever.' Last time I wrote about it, the thread was removed citing defamation. So yeah, lost art and money. To be fair DSS, the thread was removed at your own and the other parties request - You may recall I was very reluctant to remove it completely

Anyway it seems like the package might be found after all; there was a new tracking update (a month and a half later haha) and it's in New York now. Want to make sure before I post anything definitive but seems like a good sign.

Will update everyone, but looking good! Definitely much better than when I first started this post, from what I can tell.

Dam I didn't notice that!
It's actually the photo though, no marks on the print as per second pic below. Just took a couple more in daylight. Looks way better on the wall, hardly notices!
