Came across this auction. Seller says that a Bristol art gallery has told him the piece is probably 100% genuine.
I'm very dubious over this one as the seller has no feedback for a start and the fact that the piece looks like it would have been quite easy to do.
However if it is genuine then this could be bargain of the century what with recent sales of Banksy works on bits of scrap metal!

Just buy a pre cut banksy stencil for a couple of pounds on ebay and do it yourself

7 stars, for all they're worth. if he said it was genuine then that's all you need. forget provenance, that's for p*ssy's, some bloke's say so is all you need.
vat, no matter, as it is a brick wall it is permanent, so you don't have to pay the vat - double bubble my old shag!
if the sale breaks down for any reason, PM me and i will take this prestige piece of not only pure quality but also major historical significance.

failing that, re-arrange the bricks and make a barbecue out of them, practical and a work of art.
with the 4 mill, you could buy that bankable upvc front door and repeat the cycle to truly become a multi-millionare.
this time next year.........................................
