You know they've timed it right, because when the exhibition starts the hedgfund managers and the city boys will be back from the hols and the prices would naturally jump up a bit anyway from business as usual. I doubt the exhibition does much for the price on its own. As someone says, there will be no elephants and nothing new to see. They'll be a bit in the london metro and time out and that will be it I would imagine but who knows, if banksy starts bombing london big time and the brooks PR machine kicks in, i guess anything could happen.

my mistake. I thought Banksy was going to be there signing copies of the Hutch Retrospective that he apparently wrote the preface for. That would have driven up prices too... Guess I heard wrong.

Its sure to raise at least some attention. We here are just an extremely small part of whatever the art world may be. I could be wrong though I suppose.
