Stag Do, by hunter007 on Feb 1, 2012 16:21:09 GMT 1, Alright peoples,
Im thinking about my stag do this year and really need to get planning. Anyone on here had a great one or any ideas, suggestions please?
Currently thought about renting a country house out for a weekend.
Or Amsterdam, never been
Or if anyone has a big house i can rent
Thanks Hunter

Stag Do, by Hubble Bubble on Feb 1, 2012 16:27:49 GMT 1, Might I suggest that, whatever you plan we could have a pint or two in London town (if that's your neck of the woods) to celebrate for any forum members who might be keen.
As for stags. The usual suspects are great. Dublin, Edinburgh, Amsterdam. I'd be wary of the country house option as - with alcohol involved - you might find yourself with a big cleaning bill. At least with a hotel you can 'walk away' the morning after.
Think it kind of depends what you fancy doing. A weekend clay pigeon shooting and outdoor pursuiting will not suit Amsterdam well, but if you want drugs n' hookers then English Country Cottages aren't your best bet.
Anyhow... congrats... that's my 2p.

Stag Do, by hunter007 on Feb 1, 2012 16:38:17 GMT 1, ha thanks peeps , but a forum stag pint would be a cool idea if there was anyone keen of course, I work in London live in Kent so London is not an issue to travel to for me,
I was thinking that if we was to get a house and it turned a little messy as it does at times, then footing the cleaning bill would be a pain ,
Anyone done Amsrerdam and been to hotels that are reasonable and not to shitty ?
Fox hunting weekend hmmm unsure . Megan Fox hunting appeals though

Stag Do, by rottenredrooster on Feb 1, 2012 16:46:35 GMT 1, You canny beat a night or two oot and aboot on the TOON.
With that being said, you could always go to the Dam from the TOON.
Like I said you can't be a night on the TOON.
It's TOONTASTIC.

Stag Do, by mayhem on Feb 1, 2012 19:16:27 GMT 1, I went to a place for a stag weekend once called the Titfield thunderbolt, somewhere near Bath in the middle of nowhere. We had a night of intoxicating madness with some girls on a hen night at the same place ,followed by a morning of clayshooting and afternoon of quad biking. Then back for another all night session. I doubt it is still there but i will never forget that weekend. Hope you have a good Night wherever you decide to go!

Stag Do, by confused2 on Feb 1, 2012 19:45:00 GMT 1, I organised one last year for my best mate and we spent a weekend up in Aviemore.
We arranged it all through a local company who provided a cottage and all the activities for the weekend - they can do most outdoor activities. The accommodation was pretty basic, but comfortable and slept 20 or so and we had a scream with the activities they arranged.
I'd recommend it to anyone, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
