2x Adam Neate canvases on Ebay , by mydeaddogwontwoof on Aug 10, 2007 16:37:42 GMT 1, These are one hundred percent authentic, they were mine? One was the twin towers of London, the other, portrait, was meant to be a quick sale to a fellow who mailed me earlier that day. The paintings came from a show we had in our gallery, 88b gallery below Cide skate shop, I still know people who have pieces from this show and am trying to get a hold of them. If you need more info on this please give me a mail on greggfinch@yahoo.com. I have a picture from the show if anyone’s interested. <a href=" target="_blank"> Otherwise check this link: web.archive.org/web/20050124081352/http://adamneate.co.uk/
I can vouch for the authenticity of any neate stuff greg is selling from the 88b gallery show, 100% kosher, paid him a visit today and its the real deal!

2x Adam Neate canvases on Ebay , by verbalkint on Aug 10, 2007 21:07:42 GMT 1, Most of the pieces at elms were £25,000 + gordon, some were £30,000 + dreaded, the masks were £15,000 + bulls**t and the 4 horsemen was £65,000 + TVAT. REALLY! That's unbelievable. I had no idea his work sold for so much. Am I missing something here.
The ones downstairs and round the corner were all £25,000 + VAT, the horsemen was £65,000+VAT, the 2 portraits were £30,000+VAT (which i think was the bargain of the show when you consider the size of them compared to the £25k ones) The masks were £15,000+VAT, The works opposite the prints were £25,000 and i believe the works on photographs were £20,000+VAT but im not 100% on that, they may have been 25 too. The pots and Vases were priced from a very reasonable £1500 + VAT up to £7000 + VAT for the bigger ones.
then of course the prints made about £750,000!! not a bad evenings work!

2x Adam Neate canvases on Ebay , by verbalkint on Aug 11, 2007 0:10:52 GMT 1, Very true indeed!! 6 months work! Plus the gallery takes a cut, then the tax man. I still think elms will wish that every show could be that succesful!! £1.7million is a pretty damn good take and one that will have the art worls as a whole open its eyes, especially the stuffy times critic who i spoke to 2 weeks ago who hadnt heard of adam neate (seriously). Im sure that when he hears that adams show took £1.7 million and could have taken 5 times as much if he had 5 times as much for sale, he will sit up and take notice along with everyone else
The thing is that alot of art critics really look down their noses at the street art scene, and adam does belong to that as he is a street artist, but he also just happens to be one of the most amazing, original artists too and the bloke is a genuinly talented painter. These art critics expect to see witty stencils and slogans when they hear any name connected to banksy, but when they see adams work it generally knocks them for six. Paul says that there have been alot of high profile people from the art world to the show and the reaction has been universally fantastic. I honestly feel that his next show will have the worlds attention
