The woes of white tack, by Treclau on Feb 13, 2012 13:33:44 GMT 1, A few years ago and without thinking I used white tack on a Banksy poster (Time Out, different to the poster available to the public on their website, possibly rare) to secure it in place within a frame that was a bit too big for the poster. I recently noticed that the tack has left oily marks on the poster..
..any suggestions as to how to remove the marks?

He's taken a bit of a battering on the forum recently due to using a framer that has proven to be a bit of a nightmare for one of our members but that shouldn't hide the fact that he is an expert paper restorer - one of the best you'll find.
If you want to spend £80 or so getting it done professionally, he's yer man.
Otherwise I've no idea.
