happy with the result pez, wouldn't say i enjoyed the game so much. 3 points though from a game we would have lost last season has to be positive. quite scary how easily a so-called average team like fulham picked us off at the back, maybe i'm not giving them enough credit but i think it was more a case of our bad defending as opposed to their strength going forward .
probably not a penalty but one of those in the first half looked good plus an inept referee and so many 50-50 offsides given against us, i think we did well given the circumstances.
one word though: jens

sell me paved with gold., by pezlow on Aug 12, 2007 19:51:28 GMT 1, Yup a good result. Same old story though - not enough men in the box, rubbish corners and free-kicks, lots of pretty looking moves which will look great on match of the day but don't get anywhere. Still things may improve when Eduardo is fit and Bendtner (sp?) looked good when he came on.

am i reading too much in to that mike? reading ;D ;D ;D
kind of, fact is it's stateside so massive tax implications , have to see how it goes.
perry, you're dead right about our lack of what can only be described as professionalism, nicklas bendtner made a massive difference, they couldn't defend him at all, shame he's got no pace whatsoever, theo too was uncomposed.
plus i only counted two homophobic chants which must be seen as an improvement on last season. to try to deride a player by stating that 'you're gay and you take it up the.............' is quite pathetic, just tell them that they are sh*t and be done with it. i suppose some people are just TOO macho

got the pics redfred, thanks so much for taking the time and trouble. as soon as i can work out if there is a quicker way to get them on here without uploading them all through photobucket i will do. if not, i'll just go via the usual route but you'll have to bear with me, a bit busy tonight.

sell me paved with gold., by tadghostal on Aug 14, 2007 21:47:10 GMT 1, Tom, this couldn't be the piece that you'll be importing soon, could it?!
If so, then nicely done my friend!
BTW, we're done jumping out of planes for the rest of the year. My wife bagged the peak of Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker this summer, and I got out for a couple of triathlons so things were busy--but still never did the fabled road trip.
Got a question for you in that regard though---a couple of friends did this recently (http://www.alohacampers.com/) and I was thinking of surprising my wife with a trip over the Christmas/New Year's holiday. Given the fact that we're both back-country rats, this looked like a great way to spend a couple of weeks. Believe it or not, you can still camp at the beaches near Hana and not see another car or person all day. . . . sounds good to me.
Whaddya think? Waking up in a camper van near the beach, and taking breakfast near breaking waves that are 80 degrees (farenheit). . .
