WTB Parla St. Giles (SORTED), by craigf on Jan 6, 2012 9:00:10 GMT 1, I'd be surprised if you can still get one of these at cost, it's an exceptional print and you don't see them come up for sale that often. I've just moved and other half probably likes 20% (if that) of my art and my two Parla's are included in the "like" section. One is on the lounge wall, the other over the bed, both look lovely

WTB Parla St. Giles (SORTED), by Deleted on Jan 6, 2012 22:03:03 GMT 1, Speaking as someone who's owned one and sold one on an arms length transaction I'd say that ยฃ900 - ยฃ1000 feels about right.
When I sold mine Holden was selling his also, although he's based (I think) in Australia. I don't see Holden post much nowadays but maybe he's got his still and I understand has several successful trades with reputable forumites.
My personal view (in hindsight) is of the releases that day, World Touring Letter was the strongest and on my wish list.

Any pics craig?

It's funny how every time a WTB thread pops up, people that own them GUSH about how much they love these. I'm one of those people...quality is second to none.

Agreed. It's the first piece of art I've brought home that the wife hasn't objected to.

WTB Parla St. Giles (SORTED), by Deleted on Jan 7, 2012 4:33:37 GMT 1, I very rarely if ever comment on WTB threads with regards to prices. I like Lurkerstd bought St Giles, I also bought World touring letter. I sold both at cost, it was very soon after the release date(and not fair to try and turn a quick profit or let the poor prints rot in a tube) and as I also bought a couple of Neate prints the same day. I hadn't really planned on buying 2 Parlas that day. But the quality is stunning. My comments re price were based on the current financial melt down, which shows no sign of letting up and although these rarely come up for sale, someone may feel like me and decide its not great to make a quick buck or two in these hard times. Therefore letting someone who was unable to buy due to logistical reasons have something they'll love without suffering to much. I particualrly love St Giles. My wife also liked it.
I however found a new love 'Mr Jago' well his work, I wouldn't go near him, not my fancied sex. For roughly the price of a Parla print for a starting size original a nice Jago does it every time for me.
A picture of my much loved Parla. I do wish I had space. Maybe a small original when someone I know wins the lottery. St Giles is also a very rare thing, it may just be me, but I think its better than the original. With the extra screen printing. Whatever the price, I wish you the best In finding one.

its a lovely print and sold mine a year ago for a little over cost.
It was going to occupy way to much wall space, they're big, without saying too much to me. Tis a pretty thing though, good luck with the search

Congratulations, you will get more positive feedback re this print than either of the Banksy's (and that's not slighting the B prints, they're just not everyones taste)
