So I was only just thinking the guy on Ebay who sold his five seconds after getting it home for £135, is probably wishing he'd put it on for more lol.
I do sympathise with you, but it appears mr Baker is a fast rising market.
I am delighed to say I have just got "Bird 2 " A/P with the hand drawn bird underneath the printed one,
it is really beautiful, but it did cost a fair bit more than when Jealous gallery were selling it all of a week ago. there is one on ebay now bin £750... the way things are going that might be quite cheap for what I believe is called over the pond "a mixed media original"

But in reality, the pencil bird is hand drawn, and is thus original.
Thus you have and original drawn on a silk screen.. thus a mixed media original.
also i suppose it depends on the level of "hand finishing". actually drawing a bird in pencil, seems to me to me to be a bit more of an original work, rather that just writing your name on in a big brush and adding a few splashes, which is what Peter Max in the states does all the time.
