Just watch, by verbalkint on Sept 19, 2007 23:13:11 GMT 1, having spoke to several people who queued for micallefs apparantly there were loads of people buying sets of 4, but only intending to keep peacekeeper, or basically buying 4 and planning to sell 2 (for shitloads man!)
having seen the ridiculous amount on ebay after 1 day i think my theory will come true. Those of you who liked the prints but couldnt get down, you will probably be able to get one for less than £1175 on the bay. With everyone banging them on, and with the editions being so high, i really think that some of these flippers are going to be extremely dissapointed
who said there was no justice in the world

Just watch, by mydeaddogwontwoof on Sept 19, 2007 23:37:59 GMT 1, damn right, if people stick to their guns, bide their time, & dont buy at these pisstake prices, ebay will be flooded with these prints, the baggers will be constantly trying to outdo each other pricewise as the panic sets in (they will anticipate the downwards trend and will be desperate to offload them before they are making a loss), just takes a bit of discipline from the genuine fans that are desperate to get their hands on them (dont be tempted you wankers!)

Completely agree with both your posts. Want a PK but will not buy at any price til they come down to face value. Discipline is definitley key now. Totally

Just watch, by verbalkint on Sept 20, 2007 1:29:09 GMT 1, i think that peacekeeper will hold at £1500 as its the most popular image by the sounds of things, but you might be right, you might get it for face value. As for the other 3, i see no reason why some might sell for under face value, especially if its an ebayer with low feedback.
The adam neate prints are much rarer and they have dipped towards face value, the ones that were £1250 have sold for £1600, the ones at £900 have gone for £1350, the editions of 50 are the exception. Also, with all the money going into micallefs, and with the second hand market of those prints, now is a great time to buy neates, banksys, infact any other prints. I have my eye on a few that i like

+Respect ;D
As long you as you all don't keep bidding against each other you might all be able to get something for around the original prices ;D

Just watch, by babyford on Sept 20, 2007 13:58:56 GMT 1, I bet we will seeing a lot of these prints being swopping hands by members in the future . Give it a few months and they will be swopped for older works plus a bit of cash.

Rat were the ones in LA $2K all in (i.e no $350 VAT?) If that is the case then there is already a good chance of the US flippers undercutting their UK counterparts.
