Someone has bought something from ebay and is then trying to sell it at an inflated cost on a "gallery website". Wouldn't be you, jimboleen1, by any chance would it?

Though quite aside from Pez's comments about insulting people's intelligence, for those of you running Art businesses it's worth noting that falsely representing yourself as a consumer on message boards, forums and other social networking sites in order to sell your goods is a breach of the Advertising Standards Agency codes and liable to sanction. Furthermore, the government is in the process of implementing new European consumer protection legislation to stamp out this practice. Therefore misleading folks is probably not the best way to go about launching a fledgling business. Not only will you be in breach of the law, but you'll alienate your target audience.
The board generally embraces people that sell art. Therefore there seems little need for people to do it in a misleading fashion.

I Bought all the art for my walls. However id like to trade some of the pieces in so i may buy other pieces and maybe ease the debt a bit.
Plus its been great learning to build the site and adding all the content as im on garden leave (between jobs) and although i live in tropical Jersey (NOT), the weathers been c~#p like everywhere else in the Uk.
