I know there are some very knowledgeable folk on here and I wondered if one of you might be able to help me identify the artist that painted this. I bought it on ebay last week whilst looking for Lucian Freud show tickets for the Portrait Gallery. It was only £176 (almost as much as the bloody tickets!). I love it, but have no idea who painted it. Any ideas?
Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks guys. J

Surely an 'after Freud' as they say when another artist copies the style of another. Like the many 'after Banksy' we'll see in the future...

Don't worry, you are not alone... The Mrs came home with what she called a "nice painting" from her Aunts house.
What I saw was, Salvador Dali's, "Temptation of Saint Anthony"
My heart went mad when as I got closer and realized it was an oil on canvas.
Then as I got real close, noticed Dalia in the corner. Whoever did do it did a wonderful job. Its in the bedroom and looks great.
