How about selling to someone with 0 feedback?, by Matt-lock on Aug 27, 2007 17:49:42 GMT 1, I was reading the post about how to buy from someone with zero feedback, but I was wondering about selling to someone with 0 feedback? Would you guys do it and what do you think are the neccessary precautions?
I definitely understand that all ebayers have to start somewhere but doesn't really make me any less concerned...

How about selling to someone with 0 feedback?, by kiy on Aug 27, 2007 18:08:52 GMT 1, Always ask for direct payment via bank transfer. Cant really go wrong. If it is a big purchase ask for the sellers land line number and give them a call.
Or if you are accept paypal (i don't & i don't recommend it for big sales), make sure you are covered under seller protection, confirmed delivery address and buyer is a verified member of paypal. I have been stung by paypal before even when condition of seller protection where met. I eventually did get my £350 back but not after calling them 30-40 times over a period of a year!!!!!!!!!!
PAYPAL SUCKS

How about selling to someone with 0 feedback?, by snakes on Aug 27, 2007 18:44:20 GMT 1, If the address is unverified with paypal check out their name & address details against the electoral register, does not always work ie. if they choose to remain anonymous but is an additional tool
