People keep saying ยฃ3.5k for a qjg but what on earth is this based on? Is there a magic qjg ebay somewhere which no one knows about
First off, try and find one! The other colours apart from possibly red and obviously the specials are ten a penny on ebay, theres always one on there. Can someone show a result for the qjg or even find someone that wants to sell it? Good luck with that.
Just because its run is 33 prints more than the regular colours does not mean its easier to get hold of. Infact you will find its harder as no one will sell it due to the personal gesture from banksy in producing it for them.

I think a fair amount have been sold, or are waiting to be sold. There was no way there was 58 people who were hard done by, as lurker says it was pretty abused.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologise if you experienced problems while queuing for the opportunity to buy a Banksy print on Saturday morning.
There was an unprecedented level of demand and unfortunately some people chose to abuse the queuing system. We are taking steps to ensure this never happens again. After consultation with the artist he has extended his sympathies to those who felt legitimately defrauded by queue jumpers and is creating a new edition in a unique colour way exclusively for those people.

I flipped one print in 2008 I think, a dface collage, to a German doctor. I paid 1750 and sold for 5250.
Shares are going great, you should stick to drawing pictures

you never stumble accross a way of making money. you see a market oppotunity and you take advantage. i had two things on my hands, lots of time which i could afford to spend sleeping on the streets in q's waiting for print releases, and a bit of start up cash.
i could buy something and sell it the next day for 400% mark up. those were the boom days, its down to 50% - 200% mark up now.
i have unfortunately got addicted and now i have a house full of art and no money.
