Distance Frame without passepartout, by hexberger on Mar 12, 2012 10:15:28 GMT 1, Hi
I want to frame a 65 x 65 cm dolk-print in such a distance-frame (80 x 80 cm) with self-colored spacers:
www.halbe-rahmen.de/en/produkte/distance-magnetrahmen.html
But how should I fix the print on the background-paper? I found filmoplast, but I´m not sure, if it´s the best way:
www.archivalmethods.com/Product.cfm?categoryid=7&Productid=147
Do you know any other products or options to fix the print in the middle of the background-paper? It´s important, that the print does not getting damaged or colored through the fixing.
thanks a lot
Stefan

Another question, maybe someone knows the answer:
I want to spray some parts (the spacers) of the frame. Is that a good idea, or will the evaporation (i hope this is the correct word ) damage the print?
Thanks a lot for your help.
