Numbers on prints, by sfinks on Mar 19, 2012 19:09:10 GMT 1, I see most people hide the prints number when its shown or is up for sale. Why is this? Never understood the reason for that.
If the print has a low number that is usually mentioned anyway. And if it is nr 1 they usually say so. So why hide only the uninteresting numbers?

Numbers on prints, by mouser on Mar 19, 2012 19:25:42 GMT 1, Days of paranoia and flippers, folk would hide the numbers incase they were put on POW's black list of people who sold Banksy prints and were not allowed to buy from POW ever again..... ever....
( assuming POW bothered to scour forums and ebay looking for prints for sale to check against the numbering therefore being able to see who the print was registerd to).
