A 7 layer very detailed stencil covered up by tags.

I'd hazard a guess at 'beauty in all walks of life - especially art - comes in many guises, from the traditional (represented by the 'conventional' - albeit superbly accomplished - stencilling) to the haphazard 'joie de vivre' randomness of the taggers and their work. It's a big enough world we live in for the different forms not only to sit side by side but also to live together. Sometimes, their very alliance can create a new form of beauty.'
I also see references to cultures and parallels with women in society and their wearing of burkas - but it's too early to think about this and I need another coffee.
(I'm saying nothing about stencillers and taggers having feuds)
