Just wondering why there seems to be not much love for thev 'Balaclave' print. A very deep and sarcastic attetude comes with it in my opinion, usually this is very popular with Dolk prints. Why not on this? To far away from the commercial world?

I think Balaclava is one of Dolks best ideas ever. She´s painting (putting on make- up) her face which is a black void that needs to be filled (not painting it black as most people think).
But i also think it is poorly executed and thats why i didn´t buy it. Arms and hands are out of proportion. Dolk really need to learn how to draw hands, just look at the TOY print!

I like Pig, not sure why it hasnt sold out.... its nicer than most the images that have sold out imo....

Sorry but i'm not sure i agree with you on that. its called balaclava cos she's painting a balaclava on her face, she's not painting her face in on a black void man........

strangest thing, it's the 'hand' that draws me in at times with some of these pieces and others... my eye goes to it first, at times... there's something lovely and honest about it (dunno)...

The lipstick symbolises generally make up and the make up might symbolise some womens balaclave. Way to often in todays world the focus is only on the looks but the true beauty (and look) is as a result hidden behind a maskarade. Well, that is at least how I always understood the piece...

Well you very much relied on the fact so nothing wrong with that. But since there usually is a reason for something I wondered why she's doing it. But as boaty said who knows what an artist has in mind when creating his artwork....
