Cartrain ๐ฌ๐ง Tate Gallery โข Damien Hirst โข Gilbert & George, by sham69 on Oct 3, 2008 12:59:05 GMT 1, I don't think this is Cartrain. I think this was put up by Mrs Craddock, as a collaboration with the kids from the PlayHut Day Nursery. I know they've being doing some studies of situationist art. Personally I think it's a good effort considering most of them are only 3 or 4.
Watch out for more work coming your way. I understand they've got their hands on some glitter and crayons and are doing something using collage with bits cut from an old Argos catalogue.
Actually, in all seriousness I think they could do better. C-

Cartrain ๐ฌ๐ง Tate Gallery โข Damien Hirst โข Gilbert & George, by sham69 on Oct 3, 2008 14:44:45 GMT 1, It actually looks like Cartrain though. I feel that there's some subtle indicators that certainly look to be pointing in that direction.
No cardboard frame though?

Maybe you can start making a fan base here in Holland, since you've been on Dutch TV

They first contacted me about doing an interview but its not really my sort of thing doing stuff like that. So I put them on to Cartrain, as they really also wanted someone that could take them round London to see a few Banksy pieces, plus he could give them a better angle from an Artists point of view.

Cartrain ๐ฌ๐ง Tate Gallery โข Damien Hirst โข Gilbert & George, by Deleted on Oct 5, 2008 21:06:44 GMT 1, Ok, here it is.. very quick translated.. not perfect and took some freedom to avoid the dictionary... Dont expect anything shocking..
(Man in suit): Nodoby knows his true identity, Banksy, the british graffiti-artist who is more than just a 'streetpainter'. his work is full with complaints about society (not translated well.. can't come up with the right term) but it always has some absurdistic elements in it. His work is getting more and more popular as we can see in the London auction house Sothebys. This night there will be an auction where his work will be sold for hundredthousands of euros. Banksys streetwork is a prey for commerce too, a fact that annoys his fans. (Voice over). You need to have a free mind and bright eye to spot a real Banksy in Londons busy traffic. This one is pretty new. But when we follow the track of paint Banksy left here we see his art is vulnerable too. People paint over his work and some of the walls get 'cleaned' by the county. Banksy collegues really regret this. Cartrain (wash your hands mate!) (voice over) the talent will stay anonymous, that is all part of the game. Especially for Banksy. This is one of the very rare photo's of the man. It enlarges his enourmous status. (dorky person 2) At this spot Banksy took his time to paint, right under the sight of naieve pedestrians who walked besides his processing work. The result was 'exposed' on the Internet and sold by auction. Total raisings: 250.000 euro. And, o ja, the buyer has to arrange a new wall. (voice over) On this parking lot happened the same. The piece was bought by a rich american. Cartrain (Isabelle Paagman) Banksy is an artist (she studied.. we can tell now). He organises events, makes headlines (not sure what she means with that) and shows his artistic talent in paintings like these. Banksy is an hype and he is not the only one right now. It is something that really appeals to people at this moment. (voice over). According to Sothebys Banksy is someone like Andy Warhol: Art for the rich! This banksy, a false print with displaying the head of diana is worth thousand of euros. Cartrain got one as a present (I deserve one too after this).
