The amount of exposure he's getting can do no harm. I'm waiting for the "I'm Cartrain" t shirts to come out and the expose of how he's really a 42 year old public school headteacher.

I do like Wiz's Hirst piece though and all the publicity that came from the whole Hirst saga is great. One thing Cartrain is good at is attracting attention and this should be applauded.

Here you have an artist who by his own admission struggles to come up with unique ideas, but is still able to take someone else's ideas, such as Hirst and develop that idea into his own creation. Ok, so aesthetically you can criticize the execution as being poor and devoid of innovation, but hey, at least he's making an effort.
What cartrain needs is not vitriolic abuse but constructive criticism in order to improve. For my 2 cents I would advise this artist to cease producing any work for several years at least and to use this time to tour Europe, N. America, Iran, Brazil and other places where you can experience some quality street work, then try your hand at it once again.
