It would have to be bloody big to pick up the detail in this, otherwise I think it would look too compressed, and the image would be lost.

If it was an edition of 50 at ยฃ500 he would raise the same ammount of cash and I might have been up for one!
Hope this isnt a new direction edition wise. Must be his smallest edition to date.
Cant really tell from the picture what its like. Im sure the original is stunning.

I have since found a photo of the canvas itself and it is a lot more clearer in what it portrays. Would like to see the print in the flesh before I pressed a button, but prob a bit tooooo dear for me at the mo anyway.

Persephone.. full colour, excellent quality, edition of 100, ยฃ500. Worked for me.

GIWTBB ed 1000 was ยฃ300. I certainly wasnt moaning about it when purchased! One of his finest prints.
I dont think any of his prints are worth ยฃ1250. Paltry editions of 20 or not.
Even black siren (similar to this in many ways) can go for as little as ยฃ300 on ebay etc and theres only 116 of them.

Remember that this is an etching rather than a print, an awful lot more work goes into producing the finished image from the plate, not just photographing an original and banging out a load of prints.
