Sticky Feedback?, by Andy'77 on Sept 3, 2007 12:07:20 GMT 1, Just wondering if it would be good to have a sticky thread in this section of the forum where people can put information about transactions they've undertaken with other forum members. Maybe just a username in bold and a brief description of the transaction/service/communications of the user (maybe just a sentence or two to keep the thread easy to read kind of like ebay feedback). No discussion, purely posts with those two things. It may be useful to add negative feedback but not sure about this as it could just turn into a slanging match. Although I guess if someone has ripped you off, you'd want to warn other people. Maybe have green for positive and red for negative.
As the respect system is open to abuse just a list of trusted sellers/buyers would be a useful point of reference for future deals.
I've purchased a few things on here from forum members and they've gone really smoothly, but sending money hoping that the other person is gonna actually gonna send the item can be worrying.
There are obviously loads of people who have helped me out finding prints or just being really great for passing on information but I guess the respect system is sufficient for this, maybe just reserving a thread for feedback regarding buying/selling/trading keeps things simpler. I'm sure other people have started threads like this but they've just slipped off the bottom of the page.
Ideas? Maybe it would be more trouble than it's worth, and perhaps a bit for more work for the already no doubt busy administrators.

Sticky Feedback?, by craigf on Sept 3, 2007 12:33:19 GMT 1, I think it would be a good idea as to avoid paypal and ebay fees if its not possible to meet up there is no choice but to transfer the funds directly to the seller. When its a lot at least some indication as to whether previous transactions have gone smoothly would help. I expect any bad sellers will re join under another name so maybe it will just end up being a recommended list
